Season scoring
Is the sum of all of the scores for
the tournaments a boat participates in. It
is possible to earn an additional 50 points for
100% participation in all the regular
tournaments.
SJA
tournament scoring
consists of the following
elements to determine team scoring for
tournaments. This method of scoring
promotes 'catch and release', and calculates
scores based on fishing conditions that
particular day. Extra points are awarded
for the skilled (lucky) angler who catches the
largest fish that day.

Your
'net final points' = 50 + Big Fish
+ Winners Net Factor |
Example
So let's assume you
entered a tournament
(50 points),
caught 4 fish that weighed in at 8.84
pounds (8.84) of which one was dead (-.25 lbs.)
gives you a net (8.59
lbs.), and you caught the largest fish
(10 points).
You came in second
and the winners net was 10.4 pounds.
Divide your net weight by the winners net weight
and multiply by 100. This gives you your
'Winners Net Factor" as below.
'Winners Net Factor' =
(8.59 divided by 10.4) times 100 = 82.56
rounded up to 83
